Impresa Impresses Europe: SIC’s new ST2110 facility in beautiful Lisboa

Portuguese media group Impresa impresses Europe as its private TV network, SIC, goes ST2110 in only four months. SIC’s fully IP-based production infrastructure now serves nine channels, including a 24/7 live news programme. Sony, Cisco and Lawo provided the key components for what is currently Europe’s largest ST2110 facility.

Cisco supplied the spine-leaf switching infrastructure, Sony added vision mixers and cameras, and Lawo provided the V__matrix-based routing and processing power, IP-gateways and multiviewers as well as its IP broadcast master control system VSM.
